When the customers are imported by way of CSV, normally the customers might be added as un registered in ALM. The admin must manually choose these unregistered customers and register them.
In some circumstances, if the customers are imported in bulk, it is going to be troublesome for the admin to pick out all these unregistered customers and manually register them. To make the method simplier, we have now a characteristic known as, auto register. When the customers are imported from CSV, customers might be registered routinely.
To allow that characteristic, navigate to settings>>Basic>>allow the auto-register characteristic :
